Beles Magazine is a multimedia project and diaspora publication dedicated to exploring and reimagining Eritrean identity. 

Our mission is to create a pathway for learning and re-learning — energizing meaningful conversations about culture, heritage, and belonging within the global Eritrean community and beyond. Providing those who had to hesitantly point at the Horn of Africa on a map when asked where they were truly from, or dealt with teasing when attempting to speak Tigrinya — Beles is here as a bridge to true understanding.

Through storytelling, art, and multimedia experiences, Beles showcases Eritrean culture as it’s not often seen — vibrant, nuanced, and evolving. We highlight the voices and visions shaping our collective narrative, bridging generations and geographies to connect the Eritrean story to the wider world.
